I love to bring some of the garden inside when decorating the house for Christmas, but I was feeling rather stuck in a rut with the swags of ivy, evergreen leaves and berries that I've been snaking up the stairs and along shelves for the past few years.
Somehow, it all feels too dark and heavy and old-hat for the look I want now. For inspiration, I turned to Francine Raymond, who runs a company called the Kitchen Garden from her cottage in Suffolk, and is a dab hand at natural decorations.
